I finally got around to updating the site. There’s more to come with even more and newer pictures. Stay tuned!

Half-Moon Picture

So I must say, I am super proud of this picture. I have tried taking photos of the moon before but this is the first time I pulled it off and had it look good. I love the detail I was able to get out of the half-moon. Enjoy!

Al Mustafa Mosque

I went out and was struck by the lighting of Al Mustafa Mosque and had to take pictures of it. I also wanted to test out my newly acquired Tamron 35-150 lens and test how much reach it gives me.

The picture up top is all the way wide at 35mm, while the picture down below is at 150mm. I am very pleased with the results I got.

National Day 92

I went out to take pictures on Saudi National Day 92 on Friday. It was far too crowded to get good parking (or any parking in Khobar!). However, I did not let that get in the way of taking a few pictures in Qatif and Dammam.

I was hoping to take pictures of some fireworks or other activities but it was not meant to be. There is always Saudi National Day 93 to try again!

I intend to keep this blog updated. My detailed thoughts on big movie news, as well as film reviews will end up here. You will learn about my latest adventures. I might even do some more traditional blog entries.
